On the 19th October 2012 Fr Jean-Pierre, former chaplain to Wellburn Home was kidnapped along with Fr Edmond and Fr Anselme from their parish house.
The 10th Anniversary Mass was celebrated in Ss Peter & Paul’s Church, Dundee, at 7pm on Wednesday 19th October.
To date, no one has been able to establish with certainty the circumstances of their abduction, nor what has become of them.
Edmond Bamtupe Kisughu, was born in 1959 and was ordained a priest in 1986. He worked a lot in the parish and he is the only one of the three to have spent more than three years in Mbau.
The Mass was held to pray for the three priests, their family, friends, and religious community.
