During the lockdown, some parishioners have been asking about the effect on church finances. The impact is that we are losing every week from Mass collections, boxes in the church, donations and the hire of premises.
In addition the second collections – for example our support for the upkeep of the Holy Places and for the Papal and Episcopal Charities – will be seriously affected even if moved until a later date.
As a suggestion, and if you are in the financial position to help, we would be very grateful to receive any donations through standing order, or cheque. Some of you already donate weekly/monthly by standing order and your parishes are very grateful to you.

If you are a UK tax payer, and do not already use Gift Aid, this would be a good time to start.
