Fr Leszek Więcaszek SAC, parish priest of St Joseph’s Dundee and Chaplain to the Polish Community in the Diocese of Dunkeld, celebrated the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination to the Priesthood on Tuesday 7th May 2013. A number of diocesan priests and members of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (Pallotine Fathers) concelebrated the Mass with him. Bishop Vincent Logan, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Dunkeld presided at the Mass.
Fr Leszek, born in Ciechocinek in northern Poland, was ordained as a member of the Pallotine Fathers after studying at the seminary in Oltarzew, near Warsaw. Since his ordination Fr Leszek has served in Rwanda, Canada, United States of America, and his homeland before being appointed parish priest of St Joseph’s Dundee in 2012.
