The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (Dundee Branch) marked the Anniversary Witness of the passing of the Abortion Act in Dundee City Square, on Thursday 21st October, 6pm – 8pm.
The group held their 18th consecutive, silent candlelight vigil. Their opening and closing prayers were read aloud, but individually prayers were said silently throughout the vigil.
Organisers said, “The latest abortion statistics:- 13,815 abortions were performed in Scotland last year.”
On Thursday 28 October 2021, SPUC Scotland will hold its Annual Torchlight Procession to remember the lives lost from abortion over the last 54 years. Gathering at George Square, Glasgow, from 6pm, Rosary will commence at 6.30pm followed by the procession at 7pm to St Andrew’s Cathedral, where Mass will begin at 7.30pm.
