Bishop Stephen is delighted with the response of the priests and people of the Diocese of Dunkeld to the Consultation on Marriage and the Family. There were a good number of responses made both directly on the website and in the form of written responses sent to him at the Diocesan Centre. He would like to thank everyone for their kindness and cooperation and reassure all those who responded that their contributions will be sent to the collating group at the Bishops Conference who will forward responses made to Rome. This widespread exercise from all over the world will greatly help the Bishops of the Synod in their deliberations on the wonderful Sacrament of Marriage and the Family, the ‘Domestic Church’.
