The Union of Catholic Mothers’ Perth Branch held an ecumenical barbecue at their church and welcomed over 70 member Guild members from the Fair City’s Craigie & Moncrieffe Church, Kinnoull Church, North Church, Scone Old and New, Moncrieffe Craft Ladies, Letham St Marks as well as from among their own members. Currently they are the sole surviving branch of the UCM in our diocese.
Entertainment was provided by Douglas on fiddle and Connor on guitar playing Scottish acoustic music.
UCM President Lynda Jones was encouraged by the good attendance, thanking all those who had help to organised the occasion. She also took the opportunity to highlight some of the coming events in the Perth Branch’s syllabus for 2024-25.
