
In Colombia, violence lurks around every corner. Families are turfed from their homes, children are forced into illegal activities, and armed gangs use fear to control large parts of the country.
People living in the poorest region, Chocó, are particularly at risk. Communities here are some of the most vulnerable in South America, exposed to conflict, with little income and opportunity.
Yet, despite their immense suffering, their pain remains unseen by the world. They feel forgotten.
